Customer: Hamilton City Council
Project description:
Hamilton South Reservoir Roof Coating Watertight was asked to provide a solution for a 3000sq mtr tank roof that was leaking and deteriorated. The construction sealant joints had failed and the concrete was cracked and damaged. There had been previous attempts to repair the roof but these had failed. Watertight cleaned the roof with industrial water blasting and removed the old sealants. Watertight then installed a fully adhered Sika Sarnafil "felt back system" with Sarnametal Flashings installed round the perimeter. We then installed the Sika Uni Base system to support they alarm electronics for the lid alarms and anchors for fall arrest systems. |
Client Feedback:
"Watertight were the successful tenderer for a publically advertised contract to install a Sarnafil membrane to one of our City’s water reservoirs. The project was completed to a high standard, and to budget. Communication was fast and efficient and the work was carried out in line with best Health and Safety practices." Lyle Barker
